Sea Queen sponsors the Coloured Seas trip

John Kean, our wreck expert, is going on a 16.000 km trip together with the underwater photographer Yann Vautrin on two KTM motorbikes.  The Coloured Seas Trip features Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Belarus and Russia.
Collectively, these countries surround the Red Sea, Black Sea, White Sea and some parts of the Mediterranean Sea (which was known as the Arabic White Sea in older times).

Together with some other major names in the diving sector, Sea Queen Fleet is one of the sponsors and provided their website.

In the last few months several of the Middle Eastern countries have encountered civil unrest, which has closed borders and disrupted boat and ferry sailing where re-routing would have been a possibility.
Egypt has had a giant share of the revolutionary activity that has stopped Yann and John going from Red Sea to Black Sea territory by motorcycle.
They have decided that it would be fitting to now ride and dive it from top to bottom and let people know that it’s business as usual in what many travelers have voted the leading destination of all time.
When a clearer route opens up between the Red and Black Seas, they will continue their journey.
