Carless Reef is a famous coral reef located one hour from Hurghada. Is a reef plateau pushing up from the Abyss reach the surface with some pinnacles. 
The valley between these pinnacles is about 16m deep, and offers a wide range of dive possibility.  A few metres east of the saddle, a steep wall drops beyond 40m, with  many caves and cavelets. The reef is cover with large gorgonians and black corals.
