As a response to protests from divers worldwide and the pressure from Egyptian associations, fishing is again forbidden in the National Park of Ras Mohamed. Last week the Governor of South Sinai had issued an unpopular decree, allowing Bedouins fishing in the National Park, while the spawning season for the Snapper started.  read more »

John Kean, our wreck expert, is going on a 16.000 km trip together with the underwater photographer Yann Vautrin on two KTM motorbikes.  The Coloured Seas Trip features Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Belarus and Russia.
Collectively, these countries surround the Red Sea, Black Sea, White Sea and some parts of the Mediterranean Sea (which was known as the Arabic White Sea in older times).

Together with some other major names in the diving sector, Sea Queen Fleet is one of the sponsors and provided their website.

The Sharks of Sharm El Sheikh

There has been much news in the international press about the recent shark activity in the waters of Sharm El Sheikh, Red Sea, Egypt. Sea Queen Fleet would like to comment on these recent events and explain what is being done about them.
