Course Outlines: Marine species can be a threat to divers, snorkellers and swimmers. They bite, sting or can be poisonous or venomous. During this Marine Biology Safari participants learn to recognize and avoid accidents. Emergency procedures and First Aid procedures are also a part of the course. Reef Check is the world largest international coral reef monitoring program involving recreational divers and marine scientists. Reef Check goals are long-term monitoring of selected sites, to raise public awareness about value of coral reefs, threats to their health and solutions.
